Our 4-Step Treatment Process
Step 1 | Accurate assessment and diagnosis
“Your treatment is only as good as your diagnosis!” At Ahead Physiotherapy, we take the time to thoroughly assess your condition so that we can obtain an accurate diagnosis.
Step 2 | Planning your recovery
Based on an accurate diagnosis, we can then tell you exactly the steps we need to take together to help you recover (yes, we’re in this together!). Our commitment to you is to be open and upfront about what it will take to get better, and to give you all the tools to help you get there.
Step 3 | Treament
Our treatment is always tailored to your condition, aiming to progress you as quickly as possible towards reaching your goals. We have a multi-targeted approach: firstly we aim to relieve any symptoms, then we can move on to rehab that ensures the condition does not occur again.
Step 4 | Planning Ahead
At Ahead Physiotherapy, we believe in getting you BETTER. Not just better than when you first come to see us, but BETTER than you’ve been before!

AHEAD Physiotherapy Currimundi is part of the Bupa Members First network! This means Bupa members with Extras Cover can receive additional value and certainty through known out-of-pocket expenses, as well as receiving generally higher set benefits.

We are also part of the HCF More for Muscles Program! This program is great for HCF members needing physiotherapy, by fully covering 1 initial consultation each year (for a new episode of care) with a “More for Muscles” Physiotherapist (ie. no out of pocket cost!).

We also accept all other health funds, and have HICAPS to enable “on-the-spot” claiming.
Sponsorships & Community support

Ahead Physiotherapy actively supports local grassroots sporting clubs by providing sponsorship each year. As physiotherapists we strongly believe in the importance of regular exercise, and the best possible way to promote this is to encourage our children to make exercise and sport part of their lives.
We are actively involved in sponsoring Currimundi United Football Club https://www.currimundifc.com/for the 2018 and 2019 seasons, as well as Caloundra Little Athletics http://www.littleaths.org.au/for the 2018/2019 season. These are great local clubs run by parents and volunteers and they do a fantastic job of encouraging kids’ love for sport.
